Mercado La Paloma is located in the Figueroa Corridor of South Los Angeles: a neighborhood that is full of creative and hard working entrepreneurs, community spirit, artists, musicians and cultural traditions. During a period characterized by intense community engagement and research, the space was renovated into a vibrant community gathering space, providing opportunities for local food and artesian businesses unique to this creative community.
For this project I created a 20 page visual brand book on the Historic South-Central neighborhood Center, in hopes of highlighting its authentic South American and East Asian cuisines, mural art, cultural events and shop items that are unique to the space.
